To me agile works best when teams and individuals are given the autonomy to work how they like, but that they recognise they have a responsibility to fulfil the needs of the business. We can achieve this best when we trust that everyone is trying their best. Mistakes and misunderstandings will always happen, but if we trust that people tried their best these simply become learning opportunities.
